Paper-based processes are very time-consuming – but now there’s a solution! Workflow is an additional feature in SSG On site that makes it possible to digitise the flow for processing work permits.

This can be for general work, but also work permits, for example:

  • Electronic driving permits (trucks, hoists and mobile work platforms)
  • To enter certain areas of the site
  • Hot work
  • Work in enclosed spaces
  • Handling chemicals

Save money with Workflow

Example: This is how much time and resources you can save on average per year with the Workflow add-on feature:

  • Number of work permits issued per year: 10,000
  • Time saved per work permit: 20 minutes
  • Hourly cost per employee: SEK 500
  • Estimated savings: SEK 1,67 million*

*The savings are an estimate of administrative aspects such as time and resources. The calculation is based on existing clients and may vary depending on the specific workflows and conditions of the company.

We comply with the Swedish Work Environment Authority’s requirements for work permits

In the event of a special risk of fire or explosion, Section 36, written work permits are required. In brief, it must contain handling and safety instructions for the work task. The person carrying out the work must certify in writing that these guidelines are to be followed. The work may not be started until the coordination manager has approved it. The work permit must be retained for at least three months after the work has been completed. Read more on the Swedish Work Environment Authority’s website.
