Environmental Policy for SSG Standard Solutions Group
SSG coordinates industrial expertise to develop standardised solutions in the key areas of occupational health and safety, skills, sustainability and digitalisation. Through our operations, we help make industry more efficient and give clients and other stakeholders the opportunity to influence the transition towards a more sustainable society.
SSG is committed to protecting the environment and to working systematically to prevent pollution and reduce the negative environmental impact of its operations. Environmental and sustainability considerations are integrated into our operations and relevant decisions, with a commitment to continuously improving the effectiveness of our environmental management system.
We identify, assess and manage our significant environmental aspects in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001 and from a life-cycle perspective, from development and procurement to delivery and use of our services. Through our standards, training programmes and collaborative initiatives, SSG contributes to sustainable practices and increased environmental awareness among its clients, suppliers and other stakeholders.
SSG must:
- comply with applicable laws, regulations and other binding requirements relating to the environment and sustainability,
- set relevant environmental and sustainability requirements for suppliers and follow up on them,
- promote energy-efficient and climate-conscious operation of its cloud and data centre services,
- consider environmental and climate impacts throughout its value chain.
This policy provides a framework for setting environmental goals and monitoring performance. SSG strives to continuously develop its sustainability work and to meet the expectations of its stakeholders and of society at large.
