Philip develops the future of standardisation at SSG

Philip Reiz has extensive experience from the industry and worked for more than 16 years in various technical and customer-oriented roles before joining SSG. When the opportunity to combine their industrial background with the development of digital services arose, it felt like a natural next step. 

– I wanted to keep the connection to the industry, and the role as product manager for standardisation fit very well with my background," says Philip. 

As Product Manager, he is responsible for SSG’s standardisation offering together with a team of specialists and process managers. The role involves both supporting the team’s development and contributing to SSG’s long-term business and platform development. 

– Much is about collaboration. We work together to develop our services and create value for both clients and SSG as a whole," says Philip. 

Drives development forward 

An important part of Philips’ work is to ensure that standardisation services continue to evolve in line with client needs. He works closely with specialists, development teams and other product managers to find solutions that make work easier and more efficient for the industry. 

An achievement that he is particularly proud of is the launch of the new standardisation platform. 

– It was a project that many had been working on for a long time. Being able to take it all the way to the launch together with the team feels really good," he says. 

For Philip, it is precisely the combination of technology, development and collaboration that makes his work stimulating. He sees the ongoing investment in a common platform as an exciting opportunity for the future. 

– Being part of the transformation that SSG is currently undergoing is very inspiring. There are great opportunities to develop both our services and our way of working.
