Environmental Policy for SSG Standard Solutions Group

SSG coordinates industrial competence to develop standardised solutions within the focus areas of occupational health and safety, sustainability and digitalisation.

SSG’s services contribute to creating a more efficient industrial sector and give customers the opportunity to influence development towards a sustainable society. SSG’s environmental policy is there to provide guidance in how we work with the environment at SSG and includes a commitment to protect the environment and prevent pollution.

SSG works proactively to minimise its environmental impact by adopting an environmental and sustainability-based mindset in our day-to-day work and in all processes. All business operations shall be conducted with due consideration of their impact on the environment and with the aim of achieving continuous improvement.

SSG’s biggest contributors to environmental impact are travel, energy consumption and purchasing. Travel must always be planned efficiently and we should primarily use transport options that have a low environmental impact. The necessity of all travel must be questioned, and online meetings considered as an alternative.

At SSG, we use resources sparingly and strive to reduce the use of energy and fossil fuels. SSG tries to reduce the amount of waste and consider the life cycle perspective when purchasing. The environment must be taken into account. Collaboration takes place with suppliers and partners to reduce negative environmental impact. Any waste that is generated must be sorted at source.

SSG must meet binding requirements that are specified for the business, and strives to meet the expectations that stakeholders have of SSG as a supplier and business partner.
