SSG coordinates industrial expertise to develop standardised solutions in the focus areas of work environment, sustainability and digitalisation.
SSG's services help create a more efficient industry and give customers the opportunity to influence developments towards a sustainable society. SSG's environmental policy exists to guide how we work with the environment at SSG, and includes a commitment to protect the environment and prevent pollution.
SSG works proactively to minimise its own environmental impact through environmental and sustainability thinking in its daily work and in all processes. All activities must be conducted with consideration for the impact on the environment, and with an endeavour for continuous improvement.
SSG's biggest environmental impacts are travel, energy use and procurement. Travel should always be planned efficiently, with priority given to transport options that have a low environmental impact. All travel should be considered if it is necessary, or if it can be replaced by an online meeting.
At SSG, we manage resources and aim to reduce the use of energy and fossil fuels. SSG endeavours to reduce the amount of waste and take the life cycle perspective into account in procurement. The environment must be taken into account. Co-operation takes place with suppliers and partners to reduce negative environmental impact. The waste that does arise must be sorted at source.
SSG shall fulfil compliance obligations imposed on the business, and strives to meet the expectations that stakeholders have of SSG as a supplier and business partner.
The above applies to everyone working on behalf of SSG. Our commitment and awareness of environmental issues shall be utilised and continuous learning shall be promoted.
