SSG turns to Östersund in search of system developers

In search of new colleagues with the right skills, SSG is now expanding its operations and investing in establishing a smaller IT office in Östersund. It has already been decided that one person will be hired at the turn of the year, and the hope is to increase the number of employees in Jämtland further in the long term.

In the IT city of Sundsvall, demand for system developers is high – by expanding with an office in Östersund, the hope is to attract even more people to start working at SSG.

– Östersund is strategically interesting for us because there are many competent system developers in the area. There is an appeal to Östersund and Jämtland that attracts people from other parts of the country who want to combine a professional life with a different lifestyle. In addition, the distance to our head office in Sundsvall is still manageable for those who travel to meetings here,” says Tony Godin.

In Östersund, coworkers will be offered space in an office that will serve as a satellite office to the head office in Sundsvall. The focus will be entirely on IT and system development, and employees will be offered the same great benefits as the company’s other employees.
