SSG Environmental Course is an easily accessible and cost-effective environmental course for industrial employees, helping a company lay the foundations for smart environmental work. It is also quality-assured by Sweco Sverige! 

SSG Environmental Course is a comprehensive environmental course that enhances the skills of company staff. It can be a tool for meeting the requirements of an environmental code and of internal management systems for awareness and competence regarding impact on the external environment. The aim of the course is to provide participants with increased competence and understanding in the field of the external environment. This gives everyone better conditions for contributing to good environmental work.

Contents

SSG Environmental Course is a basic course covering general environmental knowledge. Course content includes:

• Climate change
• Different forms of emissions
• Waste and recycling 
• The roles of different actors in environmental work

SSG Environmental Course can be used when introducing environmental management systems or environmental certification. If desired, two additional sections can be added:

• An industry-specific section that covers the environmental impact of the industry in question 
• A company-specific section with a focus on local conditions

Quality assured by Sweco 

On the initiative of SSG, Sweco, as a third independent party, has been commissioned to quality assure SSG Environmental Pass and also to propose improvements with a view to developing SSG’s online environmental training courses.
