New course name - SSG Entre Contractor Safety

On 20 May, the SSG Entre Basic Course will change its name. The change is being made to create clarity in an international market.

• New designation: SSG Entre Contractor Safety.
• Course contents: Unchanged - all content remains the same, but the knowledge test has been updated and replaced by a knowledge test in each chapter, instead of an overall test at the end of the course
• Valid until: Unchanged. Participants with a valid course remain valid until the name change.

Why is the course changing its name?

The course is used internationally and has so far had two names: SSG Entre Basic Course (Swedish) and SSG Contractor Safety (English). We are now merging these two names to simplify and clarify that this is the same course.

How will this affect you?

In connection with the change, it is good for demanding industrial plants to review how the course name is used in communication with contractors. 

Review your communication: update the course name in emails, websites and other information targeted at your contractors.

Handle requirements in SSG Supplier: A new feature is that you can now use our SSG Supplier service to easily handle the requirements of the course for your contractors. You will find more information about this when you log in to SSG’s portal.

API integrations: If you use our APIs, you will receive separate information about any technical adaptations required.
