SSG Contractor Safety Finland

SSG Contractor Safety Finland is an online basic training course in occupational safety for contractors and industrial staff. The course gives you the most important knowledge to work safely, prevent accidents and take responsibility for your own and others’ safety at the workplace.

The training is completed flexibly online at your own pace. After passing the test, you will receive an electronic certificate and a personal SSG Access card, which is valid for three years. A simple and effective way to achieve safer work environments in industry, adapted to the Finnish market.

Contents

Course content includes:

• Before arrival: we go through what you need to consider before you arrive at the workplace – for example, necessary personal protective equipment and general procedures in the work area.

• A safe workplace: this section is about safety culture and dealing with harassment and bullying in the workplace.

• High-risk work: this section covers different types of high-risk work, such as hot work, electrical work and work at height. Work with chemicals and solitary work at the workplace are also covered.

• Environmentally friendly work: we go through the recycling, reuse and correct disposal of different substances and materials.

• Accident situations: rescue measures, first aid, fire extinguishing and evacuation of the workplace are covered here. We also go through different types of alarms and warnings.
