SSG Electrical Safety at Work is based on the SSG 4500 standard, which is a guideline for how electrical professionals should perform work safely. The course covers the division of responsibilities, working methods, risk management, and how to act in the event of an electrical accident.

The course is aimed at everyone who carries out electrical work in an industrial environment.

The aim of the course is to provide participants with the knowledge required to work safely in environments with electrical hazards. The course highlights a person’s responsibilities, safe working methods, and how risks should be identified and managed.

Course participants also get an insight into how safety culture affects the work environment, and how to act in the event of an electrical accident. After completing the course, participants will have an understanding of roles and responsibilities, electrical safety planning, and what is required before, during and after electrical work.
