SSG Entre Basic course - How it works

SSG Entre Basic course is a web-based safety course for contractors in the industry. Its purpose is to enhance occupational safety and reduce the number of workplace accidents. The course takes about two to three hours to complete, and all you need to complete it is a computer with Internet access.

Here is how it works

  1. If the contracting company is not registered with SSG, it has to be registered first. When registering, please specify the person who is to act as the administrator for queries relating to SSG Entre at the company.
  2. Your company now has access to the administration tool My SSG, where employees are registered and assigned to the course. The people registered by the company as administrators can carry out this registration.
  3. Everyone registered for the course receives an invitation from the administrator so that they can log in to the SSG website and complete the course. You can use this code for both SSG Entre Basic course and any local courses. Both SSG Entre Basic course and local courses end with a certification or final test.
  4. The course is passed when the final test is done with an approved score. For a course participant to receive an Access card, a photo of that person has to be uploaded to My SSG by the administrator. The Access card is then printed and sent by post to the customer’s registered address within about a week.
