SSG7903

SSG 7903E specifies the provisions that apply to delivery, manufacturing, use, conversion and repair of pressurised equipment. Pressurised equipment means all equipment that falls under [AFS 2016:1] and [AFS 2017:3]. The standard also includes pressurised equipment in materials other than steel.

Appendix 1 – Checklist: dimensioning is intended to support the dimensioning of the pressurised device.
Appendix 2 – Checklist: documentation is intended to be accompanied by an appendix to requests, contracts and orders, and be used in project planning.

For the manufacture or conversion of pressurised equipment, an agreement shall always be made during the procurement procedure of who is the manufacturer and who are the subcontractors. The design and manufacturing drawings shall show all the dimensions and details required for manufacturing and examination. The relevant parts of the following information shall be indicated in drawings and other documents.
