This standard applies to SSG PED pipe classes in carbon steel. For a summary of SSG PED pipe classes, see SSG 7829E – Piping class according to PED: summary. SSG PED pipe classes consist of pipes and fittings dimensioned after a pressure and temperature curve (p/T) for pressure classes PN10, PN16, PN25 and PN40.
