SSG7380

This standard for blind flanges is included in a complete flange connection with blind flange, protective plate, gasket and screw joints. The blind flange standard is not included as part of SSG's standard for pipe classes, but should only be seen as a support for purchasing and construction.

Note! The blind flange must be assembled with a protective plate that meets the requirements of SSG 7386E.
The standard follows the values for maximum permissible pressures (Pc) and temperatures (Tc) for each pressure class according to the European harmonised flange standard and the materials listed therein.
PN3 applies to simpler piping systems with simpler pressures and loads, for example degassing. Additional loads are calculated on a case-by-case basis. The dimensioning criterion is max. calculation pressure 3 bar at a temperature of 100°C. The PN3 standard is only intended for pipelines belonging to Section 8 of [AFS 2016:1] according to PED 2014/68/EU.
The standard meets the relevant parts of the essential safety requirements of the European pressure vessel directive, PED 2014/68/EU, which is implemented in Sweden by the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulation [AFS 2016:1]. The components of the standard are designed in accordance with the harmonised standard for pipelines.
