This standard provides recommendations for the selection of support distances for pipelines placed indoors and outdoors that have dimensions under DN 15–600. In cases of outdoor pipelines, the support distance should be particularly noted. This applies especially to cold pipelines in winter, when the risk of icing may occur. Pipelines with dimensions DN 700–1200 may be calculated on a case-by-case basis.
