SSG 6547E is a guide for the installation of crane tracks for overhead cranes that need to be designed for a specific object.
The guide is based on experiences from previous designs and installations. The appendices gives support for information exchange between the parties during the planning.
The guide does not aim to deal with complete overhead track girders but principally concentrates on tolerances, design of rails and girders and suspension points.
This standard replaces the previous report SSG 6907E – Overhead travelling crane tracks.
