This standard provides instructions on anchoring machinery to concrete foundations, machine foundations and vibration-absorbing structures using bolts. A form to be used for the procurement and provision of design details is provided as an appendix.
The standard is used in industry as a basis for design, planning and procurement. Its purpose is to ensure that the people concerned receive information on criteria at an early stage so that the design is implemented correctly.
