The recommendations are intended to provide project engineering instructions with the aim of ensuring that electrotechnical requirements are considered from the outset of the project. For this reason, electrotechnical expertise should be called on at an early stage of the ongoing project work so that preliminary proposals can be examined and approved in the light of the relevant requirements.
