This standard is intended for application when choosing and procuring pneumatic systems. The intention is for the user to have a safe, highly available pneumatic installation with low maintenance costs.
SSG 3499E specifies requirements that must be met by the pneumatic equipment, or equipment in which the pneumatics are included, in connection with function, safety, reliability, the environment, and documentation.
