This standard provides instructions for invitations to tender and ordering of permanently installed chain conveyors. The standard is suitable for spare parts management, rebuilds, or complete new installations.
The standard is intended to be used in function procurement with requests for information exchange between parties and requirements for technical data for articles. The standard also provides instructions regarding dimensioning, maintainability, design and material selection.
