SSG Entre/Contractor Safety – Safety training for contractors
Contractors visit different types of sites every day and move across national borders where they encounter varying routines, working methods and hazardous environments. When knowledge levels differ, the risk of serious incidents and accidents increases.
To meet this need, SSG, with the help of industry, has developed SSG2200 – Safety course requirements for contractors. SSG2200 is now a common industry standard and forms the basis of SSG Entre – an online training solution to ensure that all contractors have the same basic knowledge of health and safety, regardless of the site they are working at.
The training is a mandatory requirement for working at many industrial sites and serves as a uniform safety filter for the entire industry.
- A common standard that raises the level of safety
- Reduced administration for both contractors and sites
- The basic course can be supplemented with local courses if necessary
It’s easy to confirm worker skills
Once a participant has successfully completed the course and received a certificate, they will get an Access card. When entering an industrial site, cards are scanned by a card reader to confirm and ensure that the site’s competency requirements are met.
Many sites have a local and supplementary SSG Entre course for their specific rules, routines and risks. The local course is also completed via the SSG website.
