Cyber-attacks against industrial facilities are becoming increasingly common, and the consequences of a cyber-attack can be devastating. SSG is proud to announce the launch of a unique cybersecurity procurement requirement service.
SSG Delivery Contract is an important tool to ensure secure and well-regulated business processes in the industry. With the latest addition, a cybersecurity checklist that can be used when procuring IT and OT systems, the contract is further strengthened by integrating security requirements already when purchasing systems and services. The checklist will complement the SSG Delivery Contract service and is designed by and for the industry to meet the needs of the future and minimize the risks of cyberattacks.
Markus Sandgren, Product Manager for SSG Delivery Contract.
“With this checklist, you can ensure that you have cybersecurity in mind already in the planning phase,” says Markus Sandgren, Product Manager for SSG Delivery Contracts.
Along with the cybersecurity checklist, new customers also receive an explanatory guide that can be used to support the procurement process.
“Both the guide and the checklist have been developed together with industrial experts with long and solid experience in the field,” says Markus Sandgren.
The goal of the guide is that suppliers of systems and services gain an understanding of how OT systems and services should be managed, delivered, and maintained in a cyber-secure manner, and that project and purchasing organizations gain an understanding of the support needed when procuring and ordering OT systems and services.
"It feels great to be able to offer this service to our customers. We are the first to offer something similar and it is clear that the demand is significant,” says Markus Sandgren.
