SSG launches collaboration with Lappia Education Ltd - strengthening course offering in Finland

8 December 2025

SSG Standard Solutions Group has entered into a partnership with the Finnish training provider Lappia Education Ltd. As a result of the cooperation, Lappia Education Ltd will be a new dealer of SSG’s course portfolio in Finland.

The aim of the partnership is to make SSG’s courses more accessible to companies and professionals in Finland, while also giving Lappia Education Ltd the opportunity to strengthen its already wide range of industrial and technical training courses.

– We see the cooperation with Lappia Education Ltd as a natural step in our Nordic strategy. Together, we can reach even more companies and contribute to a safer and more sustainable industrial sector. Working together with local partners in this way is something we at SSG will be doing to an even greater extent in the future," says Jaakko Antikainen, Country Manager at SSG Finland.

For Lappia Education Ltd, the partnership means an opportunity to offer its clients high-quality courses from a well-established player in the Swedish industrial market.

– The background to this cooperation is the need to meet the changing requirements of working life, especially in situations where Finnish companies are entering the Swedish industrial sector. In Sweden, SSG’s safety training courses are industry standard, and we now have the opportunity to offer both students and companies training courses that are recognised on both sides of the border. SSG’s training courses are digital and multilingual, which supports Lappia Education Ltd’s goal of developing flexible and accessible training solutions," says Jari Iisakka, CEO of Lappia Education Ltd.

SSG’s courses, which are currently used by hundreds of thousands of professionals in Sweden and internationally, include work environment and safety.

– This is a win-win for industry: Lappia Education Ltd’s clients get access to a proven course portfolio, and SSG gets a strong local partner with deep market knowledge," concludes Jaakko Antikainen.
