SSG Surface Treatment
Based on SSG’s surface protection standards, the training course provides knowledge of how to design and order the right surface treatment for your needs.
The course also provides knowledge about important aspects to consider in relation to design, pretreatment, execution, handling and more. All in order to achieve the expected quality and be able to create realistic schedules and cost estimates.
The goal is that after completing the course, participants will understand the basics of successful corrosion protection and how to carry out a surface treatment project in a cost-effective manner.
Contents
Course content includes:
- How different environments and construction conditions affect the objects to be coated. Important parameters for service life and quality.
- How to specify the requirements for an order according to SSG standards.
- Implementation and follow-up according to SSG.
- Example of “Why did it turn out like this?”
- Participants’ own experiences (if shared) and the opportunity to learn from others’ experiences from projects that included surface treatment.

Implementation
SSG Surface Treatment is a half-day training course that can be completed online or on site. The training course concludes with an online test.
