SSG Electrical Safety
SSG Electrical Safety provides a basic understanding of electricity and its dangers. Electricity cannot be seen, heard or smelled, which can make it difficult to understand the dangers it poses.
Taking the SSG Electrical Safety course will help to prevent and minimise electricity-related incidents and accidents. Electrical accidents are often caused by improper handling of electrical products, so it is important to understand that an electrical product used incorrectly or in the wrong environment can be life-threatening.
The course also addresses the importance of reporting deviations to ensure that electrical installations remain safe for people and property. The aim of the course is to increase understanding of the dangers of electricity and to prevent near-accidents involving electricity.
