Prepare your organisation for cyber threats and stricter legislation – cybersecurity starts with awareness among everyone who works in your OT environment.

Digital development increases the risk of cyber threats, especially for connected OT systems that control critical processes. A cyberattack can lead to production stoppages, financial losses, or, in the worst case, serious accidents. The human factor remains one of the biggest safety risks, making training crucial to ensuring compliance and protection. In addition, directives and legislation are becoming increasingly strict.

The SSG Cybersecurity OT course is an advanced course in the work environment and security. It has been developed by SSG together with representatives from industry.

The aim of the course is to increase risk awareness among participants by identifying threats and creating an understanding of the consequences of poor cybersecurity through real-life examples.

The course supports the business in complying with legal requirements (NIS2 and new Swedish legislation) and thus helps to avoid penalty fees.

NIS2 directive and new Swedish legislation

The NIS2 Directive, adopted by the EU in December 2022, replaces the previous NIS Directive. This places higher requirements on cybersecurity across the EU and means, among other things:

  • Requirements for risk analysis
  • Safety measures such as systematic training of staff and management
  • Reporting incidents
  • Management involvement

In addition, more sectors are covered than before, particularly for activities that are considered socially important or provide critical services.
