SSG Chemical Safety
Chemical accidents are relatively uncommon – but can have devastating consequences. It is therefore important that employees, contractors and suppliers who come into contact with or handle chemicals in business operations know how to work with them safely.
In the SSG Chemical Safety course, you will gain in-depth basic knowledge about different types of risks associated with handling chemicals and how to protect yourself and others from ill health and injury in a preventive manner. The course covers different types of chemicals, what protective measures should be taken and how to act in an emergency. The course is an advanced course based on SSG basic courses in occupational health and safety and has been developed by SSG in collaboration with representatives from the chemical industry.

Implementation
The online course features short factual sections interspersed with slideshows, examples, scenarios and educational exercises to increase participant engagement. After completing the course, the participant can download a certificate.
