To check your course status, log in via the SSG Portal using the contact option (email address or mobile number) that you selected.

If you have problems logging in, you’re welcome to contact our support team.

To get a new Access card, you need to contact your SSG administrator at the company where you are employed; this person can log in and order a replacement card for you.

If you don’t know who your administrator is, you can find this information under “My details” when you’re logged in, or by contacting our support team.

The Access card itself no longer has a limited period of validity. It used to be five years, but we removed the period of validity some time ago and the card will work for as long as you have valid courses on it. You can therefore keep your card regardless of the expiry date, and you now only need to keep track of the period of validity of your courses. New cards that we issue have a manufacturing date instead of an expiry date.

If you log in via the website, the easiest way to find your card number is under “Learning” and the heading “My Courses”.

It’s also visible under “My details” together with other details you may find useful, such as company links and who your administrator(s) is/are.

You can also find your Access card number by logging in to the SSG On site app, where you can find it in your profile. 

As an administrator, you can find chip numbers for all users by following the steps below:

1. Log in and click on “Learning admin”
2. Click on “Users” in the menu on the left
3. Click on “Actions” and then “Export list” as CSV 

The Excel file that then becomes available displays the chip numbers of all users in all the formats we support. If a user does not have a chip number, this may be because the Access card has not yet been manufactured. It can be helpful to know which type of chip number the site uses, e.g. Mifare or SOLID, etc.

Please note that if a replacement card is ordered, the Access card will have a new chip number.

When uploading a photo, keep the following criteria in mind:

• The photo must be taken close up.
• There must be no headgear, protective goggles, ear defenders, etc. in the photo.
• Once you have uploaded the photo, you can crop it if you wish.
• The photo must be at least 300 pixels wide and at least 420 pixels high.
• Valid file formats are jpeg, gif and png.

If the page just keeps loading, the photo is probably too big. You can try changing the size in Microsoft Paint, for example. You can also try uploading the photo via a different browser.

If you’re a totally new user, the Access card is sent automatically, as long as a photo has been uploaded and a basic course assigned. Photos are uploaded either by the user themselves or by the administrator of the company at which they are employed.

If an Access card has already been issued, a new one is not sent out automatically; in this case the courses you complete are uploaded to the existing card. If, however, the card has been lost or is faulty, the administrator will need to order a replacement card.

Information about who your administrator is can be found under “My details” when you are logged in, or by contacting SSG support.

To order a replacement card, follow these steps:

1. Log in via the website.
2. Select the “Learning admin” service
3. Click on “Users”
4. Search for the person concerned, click on the three dots to the right and then on “Order replacement card”
5. Click on the “Next” button in the shopping cart and continue with the order.

To add a user, please follow the steps below:

1. Log in as an administrator
2. Select “Learning admin”
3. Click on “Users” and then “Invite user”
4. Fill in the first and last name and, if relevant, Access card number or personal identity number, click on “Continue”
5. Select whether you want to send the invitation via email or mobile phone number, and fill it in
6. Select language
7. Click on “Send invitation”.

The Access card and valid courses are personal and will accompany you when your employment ends. If you start at a new company, the administrator there can invite you as a user, and your courses and Access card number will be transferred there.

When you send out an invitation to a person to take SSG online courses, the person has two options, either “Find account” or “Create a new account”.

Create a new account:

If this is the first time the person is going to take SSG courses, they must create their account with us by clicking on “Create a new account”. Alternatively, your account may have been deleted (if you’ve been inactive in the service for a certain period of time), in which case you also need to select the “Create a new account” option.

Find account:

If you know that you’ve recently taken courses with us or been logged in, you must use Find account instead. You do this by entering your personal identity number, email, mobile phone number, Access card number or user name. 

If you have old login details (email or phone number) that you can no longer access, you need to call SSG support so that we can help you update with your current login details.
