How Lise develops the UX and user experience

30 March 2026

Lise Bugge is passionate about how products are experienced by users and has selected a path towards user-centric design from an early stage. She studied industrial design at Mittuniversitet and discovered user-centric design through a project with the agency Osynlig.

– I didn't know it was called UX at the time, but the project was very much about user experience. I realised that this was something I wanted to work on," says Lise.

Before SSG, Lise worked as a consultant. She enjoyed the role, but lacked the opportunity to follow the products over time and see the long-term effects of her work. When SSG contacted her, she became curious, not least because of the company culture and colleagues.

– People are very important to me, and I got a very good impression of SSG. Consultants also talked a lot about the workplace, which says a lot," she says.

Focus on the user

At SSG, Lise acts as a bridge between users and product owners. She raises the users’ perspective in development, ensures that their needs are weighed into decisions and works closely with both development and product management.

– UX work is a process that never gets completely done. You have to constantly adjust to how users work and what needs arise," says Lise.

Lise particularly estimates the working climate and colleagues.

–There are high ceilings, many are friendly and helpful. Different perspectives in the team allow us to see things from different angles and develop together," she says.

Can be involved in influencing

Since she started, Lise has developed both in her role and in her ability to communicate across organisational shares. She is driven by the opportunity to influence and improve ways of working. Seeing the results of your ideas implemented is a great motivation.

– If you have a clear idea and can show what value it creates, it is often possible to complete it," says Lise.

The working day can vary from prototypes and user tests to the implementation of functions that make everyday life easier for users. Lise sees how small improvements can make a big impact and feels proud when users get a better experience.

For anyone thinking about SSG, Lise has a clear advice:

– If you want to develop, influence and be part of shaping solutions that are used daily, SSG is a place where you can make a difference.
