Smurfit Kappa

Smurfit Kappa Piteå has an annual capacity of 700 000 tonnes kraftliner, a base paper used in the production of high quality corrugated board.

The mill consists of a sulphate mill with two softwood pulp lines, one hardwood pulp line with a bleach plant, a recycled fibre line and two paper machines.

Smurfit Kappa Piteå has a yearly turnover of approx. 3,3 billion SEK. Smurfit Kappa Piteå has approximately 520 employees. Smurfit Kappa Piteå´s customers are manufacturers of corrugated board packaging, mainly in Scandinavia and north-west Europe. 90% of Smurfit Kappa Piteå´s production volume is exported.
