This text file is used to facilitate the visitor’s use of the website. In order to improve the website, SSG uses cookies to track visitors’ navigation on the website and to gather statistics.
You must enable cookies in your browser to be able to use SSG’s online services. The cookie created disappears when you log out or close your web browser.
SSG’s website also has links with the external sites LinkedIn and Facebook as it is possible for users to like and share our articles. SSG uses Google Analytics and Hotjar as its analysis tool. When you are not logged in, a cookie will be stored to remember that you have answered/submitted a certain form.
Session cookies
A session cookie is stored temporarily in the computer’s memory while you are visiting a website, then it disappears when you close the browser. Session cookies are used when you sign up for subscription services and deleted when you leave the website, for example.
Persistent cookie
Persistent cookies are used to save personal settings – fonts, text colours, line spacing, etc. – and remain on your computer until you delete them manually.
If you do not allow the use of cookies, settings can be defined via the browser’s security settings. When the use of cookies is denied, you will not be able to retain your website log-in details. Instead, you will have to re-enter your log-in details every time in order to access protected material. If you do not enable cookies, this will also prevent you to utilising the full functionality of SSG’s online services.
